Here is the instructions for this zip file: This is every zip (except the 6 meg one) up to 12314. Ok, applying the patches is quite simple. While downloadig a patch, open a dos prompt, cd to uo\patch and type copy *.* d:\ (or whatever dir you wish), but don't hit return yet! Wait till the UoPatch Transfer status is complete and its just starting to apply the patch. Then HIT RETURN!!!! This should net you a copy of the .RTP file. Do this for each patch. (Note, some patches are very small and its quite tought to copy it before the damn uopatch file deletes it). In order to apply a patch you will need PATCHDOS.EXE from pocket soft (Makers or .rtpatch), www.pocketsoft.com. You then simply type the following: D:\UO\patchdos 1239.rtp (Note: Do this in the UO dir, you also have to copy the patch to the uo dir temporarily, or read the docs and use the path switches). UOPATCH determines which patch level you need to download by looking at the file VERSIONINFO, a copy follows: D:\UO>type versioninfo 0 . patch\ 207 239 134 110 8888 Win32_client_555 36 The .PAT files you download with a patch is the version number patch to this file, simply edit the file and change the 36 to whatever patch level you need/ have. Here is a chart: 28 = Original Patch Level on UO Beta CD = Uopatch Will download 1231.rtp 29 = 1231 Patch = Uopatch Will download 1232.rtp 30 = 1232 Patch = Uopatch Will download 1233.rtp 31 = 1233 Patch = Uopatch Will download 1234.rtp . . 36 = 1238 Patch = Uopatch Will download 1239.rtp etc, etc, you get the picture. So to download a particular patch, simply edit the versioninfo file for the patch level below the one you want and connect away...but get ready to copy that file before it deletes it!!! Now for my request, could some kind soul PLEASE save a GOOD copy of 1239.rtp, the big evil 6 meg file, zip it up and post it somewhere (Send it to Tazier at the Santum Secorum) or email a copy to me...I have tried 15 times to get the file, and each time it arrives corrupted. (Yes Yes, disk space, compression, I've been working with Support@owo.com and Pocketsoft on this one...give it a rest...it gets a couple of byte change during transfer, sounds like a bug in uopatch). Good luck and happy patch hunting! This makes the re-patching process SOOOOO much easier!
