Lord Whitsaber was the honored Mayor of Trinsic during the time of the Gargoyle invasion. It was he who was able to tell the Avatar the Mantra of Honor. Whitsaber was an honorable and respected man, but he had a past of which he was ashamed. His real name was Alastor Gordon, and he was the first mate to the pirate Captain Hawkins aboard his ship the Empire. Since those days he had reformed and made a new life for himself, but he still feared the revelation of his past. He gave the Avatar his piece of Hawkins' treasure map.
