Low-light vision.
Any Non-Lawful alignment.
Githzerai Priests revere their Wizard-Kings and their spells are granted by chaos itself (the plane of Limbo). Their domains are Chaos, Destruction, War, and Luck (choose two), and their favored weapon is the Scythe.
Githzerai Rangers MUST choose their first enemies as Githyanki and Illithid (order is not relevant), or some creature group that includes them. But all critical hits increase his multiplier by one against these targets.
+2 racial bonus to hit and damage against Githyanki or Illithid.
Never Again (Ex): +2 vs. spells of the Law Domain, and to any effect that will bind or slave the Githzerai. In addition, any Githzerai prefers death than slavery. Every time one of them fails a saving throw against such effects, he suffers 1d4 points of damage (ignores any damage protection) per every point the save was failed, and if he survives the spell is broken (e.g., someone tries to charm (DC 15) a Githzerai, he rolls a modified will save of 13, immediately he takes 2d4 points of damage but the spell is rendered ineffective). If this damage reduced a Githzerai below 0hp, instead he is at 0hp and the spell worked. This is a belief reaction, they won’t be slaved again, but once unconscious his body takes control and prevents death by surrendering to the magic effect.
They have an always-active Spell Resistance of 8 + 1 per character level (can't be willingly lowered). This resistance works for spells, items, potions, anything. Any given Githzerai can willingly decide to loose this ability in any given point, but they can never regain it after that. It’s assumed that all wizards have chosen to do so. If some wizard chooses to keep this ability, they must overcome his own magic resistance each time they want to cast any given spell.
They have an always-active Power Resistance of 8 + 1 per character level (can't be willingly lowered). This resistance works for powers, items, potions, anything. Any given Githzerai can willingly decide to loose this ability in any given point, but they can never regain it after that. It’s assumed that all Psions have chosen to do so. If some psion chooses to keep this ability, they must overcome his own power resistance each time they want to manifest any given power.
At level 11th, Psionic Plane Shift ability once per day, as a 16th level psion (Sp).
