· Crush: If both claws hit, and a hold is successfully established, the maelephant crushes its victim with its powerful arms for 2d4+6 points of damage per round. Also victims being crushed are automatically hit by subsequent attacks of the trunk-spike (no roll necessary). The maelephant releases its victim if he receives more than 12 hp of damage while holding it.

· Charge: Maelephants can charge into combat. This increases their movement to 40ft and gives them a +4 on all attack rolls, while reducing their AC by 2. Also, if he reaches an enemy they can deliver its full attack to them. These modifiers are for the first round only and include the normal modifiers for a charge maneuver.

· Memory Loss: 3 times per day, a maelephant can breathe a cloud of noxious vapor 10’ wide and 30’ long. Anyone caught within this cloud must succeed a Fortitude save (DC19) or suffer complete memory loss. The loss lasts until cured by a Neutralize Poison spell (Slow Poison has no effect).

· Spell-like Abilities: At will – Alarm, Portal Alarm, Bind, Blade Barrier (3/day), Entangle, Gust of Wind, Light, Polymorph Other (3/day), True Seeing, and Warp Wood.

· Keen Eyesight: Maelephants vision is double human norms. They receive a +8 to Spot & Search.

· Monstrous Humanoid: Darkvision 60ft. Proficient with all simple weapons.

· Outsider: Darkvision 60 feet. Can’t be raised or resurrected.
