· Spell-like Abilities: At will – Truesight (always active), Shield (always active), Blade Barrier, Charm Person or Mammal (7/day), Cure Serious Wounds (3/day), Detect Thoughts, Light, Mirror Image, Detect Magic, and Read Magic.

· Magical Weapon: Pers carry huge greatswords that they can wield for 2d10 damage without penalty. The swords are intelligent, magical weapons. Each is a sword +3, Frost Brand, +6 vs. fire-using/dwelling creatures. These intelligent frost brands are imbued with the essence of a servitor of an upper power.

 

· Abilities:

· Intelligence: 18

· Wisdom: 13

· Charisma: 13

· Alignment: Lawful Neutral

· It can communicate telepathically or verbally (knows 4 languages), and also can read all languages it knows.

· Primary Abilities: Detect Good / Evil (10’ radius), See Invisibility (120’ radius), Detect Magic (10’ radius).

· Extraordinary Power: Bull’s Strength (wielder only, 1/day).

· Special Purpose: Defend the portals between the planes as the pers.

· Power: Confusion (DC18) for 2d6 rounds.

 

· Size Up: Pers can magically size up their opponents and know its fighting prowess. This ability does not, however, extend to spell use. Pers are intelligent, and one who outmatched by a group of adventurers may challenge the opposing leader or most powerful warrior to single combat.

· Outsider: Darkvision 60 feet. Can’t be raised or resurrected.

 

 If intruders breach a portal, the powers always send reinforcements (usually additional pers).
