· Implant (Ex): A red slaad can inject an egg-pellet with every claw attack. A successful Fortitude save (DC17) avoids implantation, but unconscious characters can’t save. After a week, the egg gestates into a blue slaad that eats its way out, killing the host. 24 hours the egg fully matures, the host falls extremely ill (-10 to all ability scores). A Remove Curse or similar magic destroys the egg or baby. An egg-pellet can be detected by Detect Evil or a successful Heal check (DC20).

· Pounce (Ex): Red slaad can charge into fray, leaping upon his enemies, being able to do a full attack even after taking a move action.

· Stunning Croak (Ex): Once per day, red slaad can emit a loud croak that stuns all opponents within 20’ that don’t succeed a Fortitude save (DC16) for 2 rounds.

· Summon Slaad (Su):

· Red: 2/day; 40% of 1d2 red slaadi.

· Blue: 2/day; 40% of 1d2 blue slaadi or 1 green slaad.

· Green: 2/day, 50% of 1d6 red slaadi, 1d4 blue slaadi, 1d2 green slaadi or 1 gray slaad.

 

· Spell-like Abilities (Sp):

 

· Blue: At will – Hold Person (1 person), Passwall, and Telekinesis.

· Green: At will – Darkness, Delayed Blast Fireball (1/day), See invisibility, Detect Magic, Detect Thoughts, Fear, Locate Object, Produce Flame, and Telekinesis.

 

· Disease (Ex): The bite of a blue slaad can infect with a disease similar to mummy rot (Fortitude save DC17 to avoid contagion). Also, blue slaadi can infect unconscious opponents a disease similar to lycanthropy. This infection transforms the humanoid victim, over a week’s period, into a red slaad; non-humanoid victims die. The disease is undetectable except by a detect evil spell. Cure Disease cures both kind of diseases and also reverses the second.

· Polymorph (Su): Green slaadi can Polymorph at will into a duplicate of the human or demihuman host that spawned it.

· Stun (Ex): Death slaadi empower their blows with an ability similar to the Stunning Fist ability. Anyone hit by a claw attack must succeed a Fortitude save (DC21) or become stunned for 1d6 rounds.

· Spell-like Abilities (Sp):

· Gray: At will – Advanced Illusion, Darkness, Fear, Flame Strike, Darkvision, Invisibility, Know Alignment, Lightning Bolt, Power Word Blind (1/day), Symbol of Pain (1/day), and Wind Walk.

· Death: At will – Advanced Illusion, Astral Projection, Cloudkill, Darkness, Detect Magic, See Invisibility, Detect Thoughts, Fear, Fireball (1/day), Flame Strike, Invisibility, Locate Object, Phantasmal Killer (1/day), Symbol (Any, 1/day), Word of Chaos (1/day), and Wind Walk.

 

· Summon Slaad (Su):

· Gray: 2/day; 60% of 1d4 gray slaadi.

· Death: Once every 10 rounds, death slaad can summon 1d8 of any type of slaad except other death slaadi.

 

· Telepathy (Su): Death slaadi can communicate with all creatures within 100 feet through telepathy.

· Alternate Form (Su): Gray and Death slaadi can shapechange into the form of the original host, in which they often wield a magical weapon.

· Outsider: Darkvision 60 feet. Can’t be raised or resurrected.
