· Sting: The arcanoloths can attack with two stinging, poisonous claws which impose a -1 penalty, cumulative per hit, on all attack rolls. Bless, Neutralize Poison or Delay Poison eliminates the attack penalty; otherwise, effects are permanent.

· Spell-like Abilities: At will – Advanced Illusion (1/day), Deeper Darkness, Control Temperature (10’ radius), Fear (1/day), Fly (unlimited duration), Heat Metal, Invisibility, Magic Missile, Shapechange (to any humanoid form), Telekinesis, and Warp Wood.

· Wizard Spells: Arcanoloths have the ability of a 12th level wizard, normally with a couple of uncommon or even rare spells among a random spellbook. They commonly memorize destructive spells, but they keep a wise eye on their escape and defensive spells for good measure (Spells: 4/6/5/5/4/4/2).

· Gate: Once a day with a 40% chance of success they can attempt to gate in 1-6 mezzoloths, 1-2 dergoloths, or 1 arcanoloth.

· Speaker: As speakers for their race, arcanoloths can speak and write all languages.

· Immunities: Immune to mind-affecting magic.

· Yugoloth Traits:

 

· Immunities: Acid, fire, and poison.

· Resistances: Gas resistance 20.

· Weaknesses: Cold inflicts double damage.

· Spell-like abilities: At will – Alter Self, Animate Dead, Cause Disease, Charm Person, Minor Image, Produce Flame, and Greater Teleport.

· Nature of Betrayal: All yugoloth can gate in their fellows when necessary. However, summoned yugoloths are 25% likely to turn on their summoner and aid the opponent. If the opponent wins, the traitorous yugoloth tries to cadge a reward for its help.

 

· Outsider: Darkvision 60 feet. Can’t be raised or resurrected.
