· Magical Axe: Nycaloths commonly use giant two-headed axes. 90% of these axes are magical, though of common variety (+1, +2, etc). Of the enchanted axes, 20% have a special enchantment (e.g. vorpal, etc.).

· Bleeding: Any wound caused by a nycaloth’s claw attack continues to bleed for 1d6 damage per wound per round until healed magically.

· Spell-like Abilities: At will – Command (3/day), Comprehend Languages (always active), See Invisibility (always active), Detect Magic (always active), Dimension Door (3/day), Dispel Magic, Enlarge, Reduce, Fear (by touch), Invisibility, Mirror Image (3/day), Polymorph Self, Project Image, Read Magic (always active), Reverse Gravity (1/day), Wind Walk, Word of Recall (1/day), and Wraithform (1/day).

· Gate: Once per day nycaloths can attempt to gate in 1-10 mezzoloths, 1-3 dergholoths, or 1 additional nycaloth. The gate has a 35% chance of success.

· Immunities: Immune to enchantment/charm spells or effects.

· Yugoloth Traits:

 

· Immunities: Acid, fire, and poison.

· Resistances: Gas resistance 20.

· Weaknesses: Cold inflicts double damage.

· Spell-like abilities: At will – Alter Self, Animate Dead, Cause Disease, Charm Person, Minor Image, Produce Flame, and Greater Teleport.

· Nature of Betrayal: All yugoloth can gate in their fellows when necessary. However, summoned yugoloths are 25% likely to turn on their summoner and aid the opponent. If the opponent wins, the traitorous yugoloth tries to cadge a reward for its help.

 

· Outsider: Darkvision 60 feet. Can’t be raised or resurrected.
