Setting up Ultima Online
1) Insert your Ultima Online CD

After the set up program auto starts, you have to do a full install to your hard drive to play on Zulu Hotel.

2) Click on Advanced.

3) Click on Install Ultima Online.

4) Click on Full, click on Next.

5) Set the directory to install, Click on Next.

6) After Ultima Online is fully installed, click on Finish.

7) Click on Yes. Do NOT install Direct X 5, you should download Direct X 7a from Microsoft's Website.

8) Run uopatch.exe (found inside UO directory) and let it patch your version of UO.

I have been getting reports from players that they can't log on.  If you run the uopatch and it stops...just keep running the autopatch.  You should run it over and over until it completes.

Setting up to play on Zulu Hotel
Zulu Shard is free to anyone that has Ultima Online.

1) Read the rules.

2)Apply for an account. Your password will be emailed it to you.

3) Back up login.cfg and verdata.mul files in your UO directory.

4) Get the shard files from the file section.

5) To play on just run client.exe and DO NOT run the file uo.exe.

If you run uo.exe, then you will get the error "there is some problem communicating with origin"

If you are having problems loggin on, we now have a person to help out with this.   Please email Renah with your questions.
